GOP Congressional Candidate: Holocaust “Blackest Lie In History”

by David Badash on February 29, 2012

A GOP Congressional candidate says the Holocaust never happened, calls it “an international extortion racket by the Jews,” and adds that he believes it is “the blackest lie in history.” Arthur Jones, 64, is running as a Republican in Illinois as a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives. He additionally questions America’s support of Israel, and claims that the U.S. government is aiding “Latino Reds and Radicals such as La Raza,” who “are working to create ”Atzlan”, a new Marxist country out of the states of the southwest.” Fortunately, Jones only has 64 “likes” on his Facebook page. Sadly, you can bet he’ll find an audience, and there will be plenty who will vote for him. Not enough to get elected, but enough.
Via Patch.com:
“As far as I’m concerned, the Holocaust is nothing more than an international extortion racket by the Jews,” Jones said. “It’s the blackest lie in history. Millions of dollars are being made by Jews telling this tale of woe and misfortune in books, movies, plays and TV.
“The more survivors, the more lies that are told.”
A member of the Nationalist Socialist Party in his younger days, Jones took part in the Nazis’ march on Chicago’s Marquette Park in 1978. While he doesn’t deny nor repudiate his “past affiliations,” he says he votes Republican “90 percent of the time.”
“Philosophically, I’m a National Socialist,” Jones said. “Officially, I don’t belong to any party except my own, the America First Committee.”
Jones hopes three’s a charm after blowing his retirement savings on two prior congressional runs. He hopes to win the Republican primary and go on to challenge Lipinski this November. The 3rd District covers portions of Chicago’s South Side and a large swath of the south suburbs.(...)

Daily Mail: 'The blackest lie in history': Republican congressional candidate says the Holocaust never happened

  • Illinois candidate Arthur Jones, 64, 'organises Nazi events to celebrate Hitler's birthday'
  • 'The Holocaust is an international extortion racket'
  • Candidate has spent life savings on congressional run

A congressional candidate running as a Republican in the upcoming Illinois primary says the 'Holocaust never happened.'

Arthur Jones, 64, who organizes neo-Nazi events around Adolf Hitler’s birthday, hopes to be the Republican candidate chosen to run against

Rep. Dan Lipinski in Illinois’ 3rd Congressional District.

‘As far as I’m concerned, the Holocaust is nothing more than an international extortion racket by the Jews,’ Jones said.

‘It’s the blackest lie in history. Millions of dollars are being made by Jews telling this tale of woe and misfortune in books, movies, plays and TV. The more survivors, the more lies that are told.’

Holocaust denial is illegal in a number of European countries and carries a prison sentence for people who break the law.

Jones, a Vietnam War veteran, was previously a member of the Nationalist Socialist White People's Party and has taken part in a Nazi march.

'Philosophically, I’m a National Socialist,' Jones said. 'Officially, I don’t belong to any party except my own, the America First Committee.'

Jones has already blown his retirement savings on two prior congressional runs – with no success.

Jones, an insurance salesman, also condemned fellow Republicans Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney as ‘war-mongering fools.’

He said: 'These war-mongering fools in congress like Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney—we can’t let Iran have one nuclear weapon but we let Israel have all the nuclear weapons they want. This is ridiculous.'

He claims that he is running again partly because of what he describes as Lipinski’s 'strange affiliation' with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.

He describes the body as the 'American Israel Pro Israel Affairs Committee'.

The candidate also compares today's conditions in the United States to Germany at the end of World War I.

'Our country is falling apart economically, politically, culturally, militarily,' he said. 'We are going down.'

In an online questionnaire, Jones admitted he has been arrested for ‘minor street skirmishes with Leftists.’

The state Republican party has tried to keep the candidate off the ballot because of his anti-semitic views, even though he has gathered enough signatures to qualify.

Vendredi 2 mars 2012

AFP Reader Runs for Congress

by Ralph Forbes
In line with strict conservative constitutionalists like maverick Republican Texas Rep. Ron Paul, Arthur Jones, a U.S. congressional candidate in Illinois, has thrown his hat in the ring. He is hoping to take hismessage toWashington that Americans are fed up with an out-of-control central government.
In 2008, Jones ran for the third congressional district of Illinois at which time he received 33 percent of the vote in the Republican primary.
Now Jones is again on the ballot. This time, however, he has the advantage of having secured the top position over two other Republicans, which traditionally garners an extra 10 percent of the vote.
A longtime AFP reader, Jones says he is “mad as hell over the way Wall Street and the politicians are looting this country and sticking it to the middle class. They steal our jobs, steal our money through taxes and inflation, steal our homes through foreclosures, rob our children of their future—and trample on our Godgiven rights if we complain.”
A major issue in Jones’s campaign consists of the numerous free trade treaties, which he says are the real cause of the high unemployment rate in this country. Starting with NAFTA, said Jones, the 17 free trade treaties have cost U.S. workers 43 million jobs.
Jones added that the main reason he decided to run again for Congress is his discovery by accident that incumbent Democrat Daniel Lipinski has been “spear-heading” the drive in Congress to start a war against Iran. His source for this information was the American Israel Political Affairs Committee, or AIPAC as it is known. AIPAC’s website has bragged how Lipinski and Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.) are leading the drive in Congress to increase economic sanctions on Iran’s dealings with communist China.
“Lipinski is a warmonger, plain and simple,” said Jones. “He is willing to risk starting a war with Iran to appease the Israeli lobby and a handful of Zionist Jews in the 3rd congressional district.”
The recent passage of the National Defense Authorization Act is a bill Jones wants repealed. “This bill will turn our country from a land of freedom into a Zionist-run police state,” said Jones. Among other things, Jones is a strong supporter of the right to carry a concealed weapon for personal protection.
On the issue of illegal aliens, Jones is equally plainspoken: “No amnesty. Find them, and then deport them.” And on the issue of morality, Jones is “totally opposed to same-sex marriages,” and, “Abortion, in my Christian way of thinking, is murder.”
Write to Jones for Congress at P.O. Box 598, Lyons, Ill. 60534. His primary isMarch 20, 2012. Youmay also call him at (708) 442-6334.
