Netanyahou rappelait au Mossad il y a quelques années qu'Israël est destiné à devenir une superpuissance mondiale. Pour y arriver, les petites entreprises (startups) issues du Mossad spécialisées en nouvelles technologies devaient devenir les chefs de file mondiaux en matière de cybersécurité. C'est dire qu'Israël devait devenir le centre de développement technologique numérique le plus important et le plus avancé en matière d'espionnage informatique.
C'est un fait accompli: Israël est maintenant la terre promise des plus grandes compagnies "américaines" spécialisées en technologie numérique et autrefois associées à la célèbre Silicon Valley (voir Whitney Webb).*

Probablement parce qu'ils ne peuvent plus éviter le sujet, les grands médias ont commencé à lever un peu le voile sur la firme israélienne NSO, qui produit des logiciels malveillants permettant de pirater des comptes utilisateurs et ainsi d'espionner les utilisateurs de certaines applications téléphoniques les plus populaires.
Maintenant, la compagnie Whatsapp poursuit NSO, mais elle n'a rien à craindre puisqu'il existe des accords secrets de collaboration liant les États occidentaux (particulièrement les États-Unis) et l'État d'Israël, dans le cadre d'opérations secrètes conjointes.
Rappelons les exemples de l'affaire Iran-Contra (voir Robert Parry,
Andrew et Leslie Cockburn ), de même que le scandale de la formation des moudjahidines ayant donné naissance à Al-Qaïda (voir Victor Ostrovsky), qui démontrent à quel point Israel est un favori des USA pour assurer l'entraînement des forces contre-insurrectionelles, contre-révolutionnaires, et ce, partout dans le monde.
Car si Israël a une totale liberté d'action, carte blanche pour faire ce qu'il veut en tout temps, une totale impunité à enfreindre les droits de l'homme, en dehors de la loi des hommes et du droit international, ouvertement hors la loi, c'est en grande partie parce que de nombreux États autoritaires à travers le monde ont besoin d'un État voyou comme Israël pour faire à leur place ou au moins les aider à faire le sale boulot, en secret, notamment en matière d'espionnage et de répression de la dissidence... Les USA traitent ainsi les États du monde entier comme s'ils travaillaient pour eux, comme s'il s'agissait de grandes compagnies transnationales américaines, lesquelles sont, comme on sait, toutes noyautées et utilisées par la CIA (voir Douglas Valentine).
