just-released book* confirms what U.S. law enforcement had suspected
for decades: A Jewish Hollywood film producer “was a full-fledged
operative for Israel’s top-secret intelligence agency” and used his
many U.S.- based companies to smuggle sensitive nuclear technology from
the United States to Israel. This spy was also the most likely source
for Iran and Libya’s uranium enrichment advances.
According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, the book, Confidential: The Life of Secret Agent Turned Hollywood Tycoon—Arnon Milchan, “recounts Milchan’s life story, from his days as a boy through his friendships with Israeli prime ministers, U.S. presidents and Hollywood stars.”
As far back as 1995, AFP correspondent Michael Collins Piper revealed that Milchan—who bankrolled Oliver Stone’s film JFK—was a key figure in Israel’s nuclear weapons program that Kennedy was determined to stop. The Milchan-funded film ignores this conflict. Milchan produced other films including Pretty Woman, War of the Roses, Fight Club and Natural Born Killers.
He also funds the Israeli Network, which broadcasts Israeli TV programming to the U.S. and Canada. Milchan, a fanatical devotee of the Zionist state and an Israeli citizen, set up shop in Tinseltown in the late 1970s, attaining a net worth of around $4 billion. Forbes magazine listed him as the world’s 268th richest person.
“Milchan’s services to the Israeli security industry have been made public before,” says Haaretz, “but he has always denied or refused to acknowledge them. This is the first time Milchan confirms these claims.”

current president of Israel, Shimon Peres, was the figure responsible
for Milchan’s dirty dealings. Interviewed for the book, Peres bragged:
“It was I who recruited him. When I was at the Ministry of Defense,
Arnon was involved in numerous defense-related procurement activities
and intelligence operations. His strength is in making connections at
the highest levels. His activities gave us a huge advantage,
strategically, diplomatically and technologically.”
The
“activities” Peres alludes to include “buying components to build and
maintain Israel’s nuclear arsenal” and supervising “government-backed
accounts and front companies that financed the special needs of the
entirety of Israel’s intelligence operations outside the country.”
Milchan
provided sketches of nuclear centrifuges to Israel, and based on
these, “Israel set up a centrifuge factory in Dimona and was able to
produce fissile material used for nuclear weapons.”
Although
Milchan refused payment for his Israeli spying, he “collected
commission fees from American security firms that were deposited in the
bank accounts of various companies he set up in several countries
where Israeli spy agencies operate,” according to the authors.
“Hundreds
and hundreds of millions of dollars paid in commissions for defense
deals between Israel and the United States were deposited in secret
bank accounts all over the world and used to fund Israeli espionage
activities abroad. The money in these accounts paid for operations that
helped Israel obtain materials, technologies and equipment that turned
it into a nuclear power, with the fifth biggest nuclear arsenal in the
world,” stated the authors in an interview with Haaretz.

Le nom d’Arnon Milchan ne vous dit sans
doute rien. Pourtant, on ne compte plus les films mondialement connus
qu’il a produits, comme "Il était une fois en Amérique", "Brazil",
"Heat", "Copycat", "L.A. Confidential" ou les deux précités quelques
lignes plus haut. Au total, son nom est associé à plus de cent-vingt
films hollywoodiens.

Cette "success story" s’accompagne
aujourd’hui de révélations pour le moins surprenantes. Car ce magnat du
cinéma, né il y a 68 ans en Palestine - à l’époque sous mandat
britannique -, a mis un terme à des années de rumeurs qui circulaient
dans l’industrie hollywoodienne. Il était bel et bien un espion des
services secrets israéliens. Tout est parti d’une biographie non
autorisée publiée en 2011. Dans "Confidential : The Life of Secret Agent
Turned Hollywood Tycoon-Arnon Milchan", Meir Doron et Joseph Gelman
révélait la face-cachée d’Arnon Milchan qui, jusqu’au milieu des années
80, était un agent du Lekem, une agence de renseignement israélienne
spécialisée dans l’espionnage technologique. Une affirmation confirmée
dans ce livre par l’actuel président israélien, Shimon Peres, qui dit
l’avoir recruté.
Arsenal nucléaire
Il était chargé notamment de créer des
sociétés écrans au bénéfice des services de renseignement de son pays et
d’acheter des composants utilisés pour la construction et la
maintenance de l’arsenal nucléaire du pays. "Je l’ai fait pour mon pays
et j’en suis fier", a-t-il déclaré dans une interview télévisée accordée
à "Uvda", un magazine d’investigation israélien diffusé le 25 novembre.
"Quand je suis arrivé à Hollywood, je me suis complètement détaché de
mes activités pour me consacrer au cinéma, ma passion. Mais parfois,
j’ai fait les deux". Selon lui, il travaillait secrètement avec d’autres
grands noms d’Hollywood.
Les premières rumeurs ont commencé à
circuler en 1985, suite à l’inculpation de Richard Kelly Smyth,
président d’une société d’import export californienne, pour trafic
illégal de détonateurs d’armes nucléaires. Ceux-ci étaient expédiés vers
Israël grâce à l’une des sociétés de Milchan. Comme le précise
Associated Press, L’agence Lekem a été dissoute en 1987, après avoir été
liée au scandale d’espionnage pour laquelle l’ancien analyste de la
marine américaine Jonathan Pollard, accusé d’avoir fourni à Israël des
milliers de documents classés secret défense, avait été condamné à la
prison à vie au cours de la même année.

Stories about Hollywood producer Arnon Milchan's alleged double life have been circulating for years.
Now, the Israeli businessman behind hits like "Pretty Woman," ''Fight
Club" and "L.A. Confidential" has finally come forth with a stunning
admission — for years he served as an Israeli spy, buying arms on its
behalf and boosting its alleged nuclear program.
In a far-reaching interview aired Monday with Israel's Channel 2 TV's
flagship investigative program "Uvda," Milchan detailed a series of
clandestine affairs in which he was involved and particularly how he
helped purchase technologies Israel allegedly needed to operate nuclear
bombs.
"I did it for my country and I'm proud of it," said Milchan, who ran a
successful fertilizer company in Israel before making it big in
Hollywood.
Even there, he says he continued with his clandestine work while maintaining close ties with Israel's leadership.
According to an unauthorized biography published two years ago,
Milchan worked for Israel's now-defunct Bureau of Scientific Relations,
known as Lekem, which worked to obtain information for secret defense
programs. The bureau was disbanded in 1987 after it was implicated in
the spying affair for which Jonathan Pollard, a civilian intelligence
analyst for the U.S. Navy, was sentenced to life in prison.
Milchan also says other big Hollywood names were connected to his covert affairs.
"When I came to Hollywood I detached myself completely from my physical
activities to dedicate myself to what I really wanted — filmmaking," he
said. "(But) sometimes it gets mixed up."
The 68-year-old Milchan founded the New Regency film company and has
produced more than 120 movies since the 1970s, working closely with
directors such as Martin Scorsese, Roman Polanski, Sergio Leone and
Oliver Stone. He forged an especially close relationship with Robert De
Niro, who along with actors Russell Crowe and Ben Affleck, is featured
in Uvda's broadcast.
"I had heard but I wasn't sure," De Niro said, of Milchan's activities.
"I did ask him once and he told me that he was an Israeli and of course
he would do these things for his country."

Longtime Hollywood film producer Arnon Milchan says they did, in an interview set to air Monday on the Israeli investigative journalism program 'Uvda.'
Hollywood is always on the lookout for blockbuster stories, and this
coming Monday it will get the juicy details about how a producer working
in Tinseltown since the late 1970s led a double life as an arms dealer
and Israeli intelligence operative.
Arnon
Milchan, the Israeli producer of such smash hits as "Fight Club,"
"Pretty Woman," and hundreds of other films, is opening up for the first
time ever about his involvement in clandestine deals to acquire arms
for Israel and his work to promote the country's alleged nuclear
program.
The
film tycoon sat down with Israeli investigative journalist Ilana Dayan
for the season premiere of her current affairs show "Uvda" ("Fact"), in
which he discusses his efforts to engage Hollywood colleagues in his
work for Israel's Defense Ministry. Keshet's show is scheduled to air
Monday, November 25, on Israel's Channel 2.
This
isn’t the first time Milchan's role in Israeli arms dealings and
intelligence has surfaced: Just two years ago authors Meir Doron and
Joseph Gelman published a book titled “Confidential: The Life of Secret
Agent Turned Hollywood Tycoon Arnon Milchan" – which alleged that
Milchan was an operative for Israel's Bureau of Scientific Relations.
The bureau, headed by spy-masters Benjamin Blumberg and Rafi Eitan,
gathered information for secret defense-related programs, including
Israel's alleged nuclear program. The bureau was closed after Jonathan
Pollard was arrested for spying on behalf of Israel in 1986.
The
"Uvda" report does, however, contain some shocking new details about
Milchan's work, including claims that other Hollywood bigwigs like the
legendary, late director Sydney Pollack and at least one other Academy
Award-winning actor, both figured into his work for Israel.
The
report reveals that Pollack, who died in 2008, acquired arms and other
military equipment for Israel in the 1970s. When asked if Pollack knew
about the details of the deals, Milchan tells Dayan, "Pollack knew, but I
didn't want to scare him because he's American… He could have said
'no.' He said 'no' many times, but he also said 'yes' many times."
Milchan
also tells Dayan that he used at least one big-name actor's star
quality to lure U.S. scientist Arthur Biehl – an expert on nuclear
weapons and a co-developer of the hydrogen bomb – to a meeting.
According to the report, Milchan invited Biehl to the actor's home under
the pretense that the actor was seeking scientific advice for a project
he was working on.
Milchan
said he thought Biehl would cooperate because, "Anyone who lives in
California is a 'star-fucker…' They hear 'star'…they come running."
The
producer also confides in Dayan that his double-life wasn't always easy
to lead, particularly when what he really wanted was to dedicate
himself to filmmaking. "In Hollywood they don’t like working with an
arms dealer, ideologically," he said. "[They don't like working] with
someone who lives off selling machine guns and killing. Instead of
someone talking to me about a script, I had to spend half an hour
explaining that I'm not an arms dealer..."
Milchan
continued, "If people knew how many times I risked my life, back and
forth, again and again, for my country. And suddenly, [I have to] defend
myself – 'I'm not an arms dealer, I don't sell guns, I don't sell
rockets ' I should have been aware of that, of what I'll go through, and
said, 'Fuck you.' You know what, I did it for my country and I'm proud
of it."
The show also features interviews with Robert De Niro, Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck and other major Hollywood players.
Meanwhile,
New Regency films, Milchan's company, is working on four films slated
for release in 2013-14, including "Noah," a Darren Aronofsky-directed
take on the Biblical flood story starring Crowe, Emma Watson and Anthony
Hopkins.

Move over, "Argo." On Monday night, the real-life story of the
interaction between the glitter of Hollywood and the intrigue of
clandestine international arms deals aired on Israeli television.
After weeks of hype and anticipation,
the investigative program “Uvda” broadcast a show telling the story
behind the glitzy career of one of the most influential figures in
Hollywood: Arnon Milchan, the Israeli producer of such hit movies as
"Pretty Woman," “Fight Club” and “L.A. Confidential.”
Though
it wasn’t the first time Milchan’s double life as an arms dealer and
Israeli intelligence operative has been reported, it was the first time
the Israeli-born Milchan, a multi-billionaire, discussed it openly in
front of the cameras, and the first time some of the movie stars and
studio executives who know him spoke about it on the record.
The
show traced Milchan's career from the late '60s and early '70s, when he
was a young and successful businessman in the United States who had a
close relationship with Shimon Peres. At the time, Peres was in the
midst of creating the Dimona nuclear reactor, and Milchan began helping
in the effort to acquire equipment and knowledge for Israel’s nuclear
project through the secretive agency Lakam, Israel’s Bureau of
Scientific Relations.
“Do
you know what it was like to be a 20-something guy whose country
decided to let him be James Bond? Wow! The action! That was exciting,”
Milchan said. "Uvda" reporter Ilana Dayan described how Milchan would
set up bank accounts and companies, all used to acquire material and
equipment for the agency, while working for spy masters Rafi Eitan and
Benjamin Blumberg. Dayan reported that at the peak of Milchan's
activity, he was operating 30 companies in 17 different countries.
In
the 1970s, Milchan brokered deals for hundreds of millions of dollars
between Israel and U.S. companies for helicopters, missiles and other
equipment, "Uvda" reported. Though records showed that his company made
profits off the deals - sometimes as much as 60 percent - Milchan
insisted on camera that he never kept the money and that every penny
made its way back to Israel.
The
show revealed that Milchan convinced a German engineer to take home
classified documents from a safe where he worked: plans that detailed
how to construct a nuclear facility that Israel desperately needed but
that no state would share for any amount of money. Saying the engineer
"couldn't be bought," Milchan said he persuaded him to leave them on a
table and went out to dinner with his wife on the understanding that
someone would enter the house and photograph them.
Another
revelation is that director Sydney Pollack, who died in 2008, was
Milchan’s business partner in many of his activities. The director of
“Tootsie” and “Out of Africa,” Milchan said, “was my partner in
aerospace manufacturing and airplanes, all kinds of things.” When asked
if Pollack knew of and participated in all of Milchan’s activities,
Milchan said: “He had to decide what he was willing to do and what he
was not willing to do. On a lot of things he said no. On a lot of other
things he said yes."
The
acquisition of nuclear triggers for Israel by Milchan's company Milco
was what nearly got him into serious trouble when the FBI discovered
that they were shipped to Israel without the proper licensing, which led
to the 1985 indictment of aerospace executive Richard Kelly Smyth, who
used one of Milchan’s companies to ship triggers to Israel. Milchan
claimed on the show that “I didn’t know Israel ordered the triggers. I
didn’t even know what triggers were.”
Robert
De Niro, who was making a movie with Milchan at the time, said his
friend “told me that he was an Israeli and he of course would do these
things for his country - there was something with the little things that
trigger a nuclear thing … I remember asking Arnon something about that,
being friends. I was curious, not in an accusatory way, I just wanted
to know, and he said, 'Yes, I’m Israeli, that’s my country.'”
After
the trigger incident, which was followed by the 1986 arrest of Jonathan
Pollard for spying on behalf of Israel, the Bureau of Scientific
Relations was shut down.
Milchan
also admitted to having used his Hollywood and media connections to
help the South African apartheid regime in its attempts to polish its
international image, in exchange for helping Israel acquire uranium.
Dayan suggested on camera that perhaps his current role as co-producer
of the hit movie “12 Years a Slave,” set in the United States before the
Civil War, was on some level an attempt to atone for that sin. Milchan
nodded and agreed that it very well might be.
When
Milchan’s friends and business associates were asked if the rumors of
his activities on behalf of Israel’s military had done anything to
tarnish his reputation in the entertainment industry, they said no,
adding that the success of his films and his personal charm trumped any
misgivings. Media mogul Rupert Murdoch told Dayan: “Hollywood is a very
Jewish industry. Very pro-Israel. Many would honor him for it. Others
might be a bit frightened by it, but that’s all right.”

Operation Haman comme nom de l'opération visant à tuer JFK... C'est pas prouvé mais vraisemblable. Ce nom illustre bien ce

révèle concernant cette habitude juive consistant à identifier ses

A MODERN-DAY HAMAN?
What was on Ben-Gurion's mind as he turned over the reins of government to his successor? What was David Ben-Gurion's final act as Prime Minister of the Jewish State? In light of Ben-Gurion's explicit comment to John F. Kennedy that "my people have the right to exist . . and this existence is in danger," we can certainly make a good presumption.
In Ben-Gurion's eyes, John F. Kennedy was clearly a modern-day Haman—an enemy of the Jewish people. In Jewish folklore, Haman was a descendant of the Amalekites who served as prime minister to King Ahasueros of Persia. It was Haman who sought to convince the king that all of the Jews of his empire should be exterminated forever.
However, according to legend, a beautiful Jewish temptress named Esther used her feminine wiles on Ahasueros and, in the end, it was Haman who was instead put to death. The important Jewish holiday of Purim celebrates the deliverance of the Jews from Haman's intended holocaust.
In the Bible—Deut 25:19, I Sam. 15:8—the ancient Hebrews were urged to "blot out the memory of the Amalekites" from whom Haman descended.
In Israel—in 1963—David Ben-Gurion certainly looked upon John F. Kennedy as a modern-day Haman, a son of the Amalekites. As he pondered the brutal conflict with JFK, Ben-Gurion no doubt remembered the meditation that is read on Purim:
"A wicked man, an arrogant offshoot of the seed of Amalek, rose up against us. Insolent in his riches, he digged himself a pit, and his own greatness laid him a snare. In his mind he thought to entrap, but was himself entrapped; he sought to destroy, but was himself speedily destroyed . . . he made him a gallows, and was himself hanged thereon."

THE COMING OF THE MESSIAH
With John F. Kennedy lying in a grave in Arlington National Cemetery, Israel was safe—for the time being at least. The modern-day heir of Haman's legacy had been destroyed. That Lyndon Johnson—a man with a steadfast history of loyalty to Israel and its American lobby—was in line to assume the American presidency was a fact not gone unnoticed. Israel's messiah had come.

Was there a code name for the conspiracy against President Kennedy? More than likely. But we, of course, will surely never know its name. Did the Mossad, perhaps, call it "Operation Haman"—naming the conspiracy to kill the American president after Haman, the ancient Amalekite conspirator who desired the destruction of the Jewish people? That code name would be as reasonable as any, considering Ben-Gurion's hatred for Kennedy—a modern-day Haman in his eyes.

In 1979 when Connally launched a well-financed bid for the 1980 Republican presidential nomination, he publicly challenged the power of the Israeli lobby in a highly controversial speech that, by all accounts, led to the end of Connally's presidential ambitions once and for all.
But what is interesting is that Connally' s speech was considered so inflammatory by the Israelis and their Americans supporters that a prominent Israeli educator and philosopher, Emmanuel Rackman, president of Bal Ilan University, actually called for Connally's assassination.
Comparing Connally to Haman, the ancient enemy of the Jewish people, Rackman—a rabbi—issued his call for Connally's assassination in the November 18, 1979 issue of The Jewish Week-American Examiner, the publication of the Israeli-government owned Jewish Telegraph Agency, a subdivision of the worldwide Jewish Agency.
Rackman's vicious attack on Connally was headlined: "John Connally Campaign Seen as Dire Threat to Israel and U.S. Jewry." Rackman quoted New York Times columnist William Safire as having said that for "the first time, a candidate for President has delivered a major address which he knew would disturb and dismay every American supporter of Israel."(986)
Rackman commented: "This is true. But does not this observation signify more than it says? Does it not mean that in Connally we have, for the first time, a candidate who in no uncertain terms is telling the American people that he does not want the support of Jews and that he wants to prove that one can be elected president without Jewish support.
"Furthermore, does it not mean that at long last we have a candidate who hopes to get elected by mobilizing support from all who share his total disregard of how Jews feel about him and is this not an invitation to all anti-Semites to rally behind him? I am generally not an alarmist but nothing in American politics in recent years so disturbed me as Connally's subtle communication to Jews that they can `go to the devil.' Even the Nixon tapes were not so upsetting.
"The American Jewish community must be alerted. If only we had stopped Hitler early enough, millions of Jews would still be alive. And Connally must be stopped at all costs. He must not even get near the nomination! He must be destroyed, at least politically, as soon as possible.
It is sufficiently early to make Connally look ridiculous and destroy him politically without bloodshed.
"Perhaps I am overreacting," said Rackman. "But if I have learned anything especially from the rabbinic view of Biblical history it is that we are less fearful and more forgiving of enemies who at least accord us a modicum of respect than we are of enemies who treat us with disdain, with contempt. That makes Arafat more acceptable than Connally." (987)
Rackman compared Connally with Amalek, another foe of the Jewish people: "'Remember Amalek,' we are told. 'Don't forget.' Eradicate him from the face of the earth. Simply because Amalek had no respect for us. He encountered us in his path and casually sought to exterminate us as vermin.
It is my fervent prayer," said this Jewish religious leader, "that American Jewry will not minimize the importance of the challenge they have been given and will act speedily and with devastating effectiveness."(988)
John Connally was not eradicated as Rackman urged. But his political career came to a halt after the major media began a campaign against him.
However, when John Connally died in 1993, the doctors said that Connally's fatal lung condition was a direct outgrowth of the chest wounds that he had received in the shooting in Dallas on November 22, 1963. So ultimately, in the end, John Connally did prove to be yet another victim of Israel—as much as if he had died on the same day as John F. Kennedy.
