Why Islamophobes Hate Ron Paul
Islamophobes absolutely hate Ron Paul. Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch and Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs–the King and Queen of Islamophobia on the internet–dedicate page after page on their hate blogs lambasting the Congressman and presidential hopeful.
How an Anti-Terror Programme Became a Jewish Earmark
A $118 million U.S. federal programme is supposed to help non-profits protect against terror attacks. An investigation by the Jewish Daily Forward, however, found Jewish groups “got most of the cash with no clear link to actual threats.”
NASHVILLE—Truth took a holiday this past Veterans Day as hundreds packed into the Cornerstone Church in Nashville, Tenn. to attend the first annual “Constitution or Sharia —Preserving Freedom Conference,” where a cadre of rabid Zionists and disinformation artists gathered to propagate myths, arouse fear and set the stage for a clash of civilizations between Christians and Muslims.
This AFP reporter was there and watched as a naïve audience of mostly middle-aged suburbanites was coaxed into believing that radical Islamists had seized control of the U.S. government, were planning to circumvent the Constitution with sharia law and had engaged local mosques to train violent jihadists for imminent attacks on non-Muslims.
“The enemy is right here in your neighborhood,” said John Guandolo, a disgraced former FBI agent who now makes his living on the Islamophobic speaking circuit.
Though he provided no proof, Guandolo went on to claim that most mosques, and practically every Muslim organization in America, are under the control of the Muslim Brotherhood—and are therefore (according to him) not entitled to any constitutional protections.
Frank Gaffney spends a lot of time trying to get Americans to hate Muslims. He is an avowed Zionist and was lauded by mass murderer Anders Breivik (perpetrator of the 2011 Norway massacre) seven times in Breivikʼs “manifesto.”
“They do not have a First Amendment right to do anything,” says Guandolo. “They exist to break the law.”
Guandolo also claimed that theMuslim Brotherhood had infiltrated the federal government’s national security loop and was now in control of the FBI and Department of Homeland Security. He told the audience that these agencies could no longer be trusted or relied upon, and that police chiefs, county sheriffs and city council members must now confront the encroaching Muslim threat.
“Counterinsurgency [begins] at the local level,” insisted Guandolo. “We are going to win or lose this war based on what you do.” It just so happens that Guandolo is vice president of the Strategic Engagement Group Inc., an organization that trains law enforcement agencies on the so-called Islamic threat and relies on local governments for much of its revenue.
As AFP’s Michael Collins Piper reported in an article in the Sept. 12 edition of AFP entitled “Anti-Sharia Hysteria: Neo-con Hatemongers Peddle Disinfo,” the anti-sharia campaign that is sweeping the country is anything but a grassroots movement. Its origins can be traced to David Yerushalmi, a Hasidic Jewish attorney in Brooklyn who is responsible for draftingmuch of the anti-sharia legislation that has become a cause célèbre for some state representatives these past few years.
Early in the conference, Yerushalmi was featured in a pre-recorded video and revealed the true motivation behind the incessant fear mongering about sharia law.
During his brief presentation, he discussed a strategy referred to as “lawfare” that encourages individuals and groups to sue the government and banking institutions in order to stop the spread of sharia-compliant finance.
Though Yerushalmi would like to be perceived as a great defender of traditional American values, what he’s really defending is the Jewish system of usury that dominatesWestern banking.
Sharia is the antithesis of usury, and forbids penalties and compound interest to be charged on loans. One of the main tenets of sharia is the condemnation of economic exploitation. It also prohibits its followers from falling victim to financial schemes that deplete their property and cause them to fall into poverty through debt.
Another speaker of ill repute was Wafa Sultan, a Syrian-born psychiatrist and author of The God Who Hates. During her presentation, she referred to a photograph of British schoolchildren kneeling on the floor of amosque during a field trip.Thoughmost of the children were smiling, Dr. Sultan said they were being brainwashed into submitting to sharia.
“From the Muslim’s point of view, those kids are dhimmis [second-class citizens] who bow to Islam and Mohammed,” said Dr. Sultan.
Though Dr. Sultan is a popular draw at anti-sharia events, she is anything but credible. Contrary to her claims of witnessing the horrors of sharia while growing up in an oppressive Islamic regime, the country she lived in was Syria, which is a secular and decisively anti-Islamist society. She has also been caught fabricating stories about her life, such as her claim that she witnessed the assassination of her college professor on the campus of Aleppo. In reality her professor was killed, but it did not take place on campus, and Dr. Sultan was nowhere near the scene of the crime.
The main sponsor of the event was the Center for Security Policy (CSP), whose director Frank Gaffney—also a speaker at the conference—is a founding member of the warmongering Project for a New American Century. The Center for American Progress refers to CSP as part of a pro-Israeli network and is notorious for its ties to influential neo-cons. According to Source Watch, Anders Breivik, the confessed Oslo bomber and mass murderer of 68 schoolchildren in July, “cited Gaffney and the Center for Security Policy seven times in his 1,500-page anti-Islam manifesto.”
David Yerushalmi:
The Man Behind the Sharia Hysteria
Americaʼs leading “white supremacist” is not a blond-haired, blue-eyed Aryan, but a Hasidic Jewish attorney named David Yerushalmi (shown left). Together with the likes of Frank Gaffney and John Guandolo, Yerushalmi and his organization have been quoted as saying that women and blacks should not be allowed to vote. He says that Jews are the smartest race, followed by “Orientals, whites, Latinos and blacks in that order.” Yerushalmi also believes that the war on terror should be “a war against Islam and all Muslims. This means that sharia and Islamic law [would be] immediately outlawed. Any Muslim in America who adopts . . . sharia [would] be deported. Islamic mosques adhering to Islamic law [should] be permanently shut down. No self-described or practicing Muslim [would] be allowed to immigrate to this country.” In an article published in 2006 in The American Spectator, Yerushalmi said “adherence to Islam” was worthy of a “20-year prison sentence.” Perhaps Yerushalmi forgets he is in the United States, not the totalitarian state of Israel.

Palestinian Christianity in the Shadow of Christian Zionism
Palestinian Christians in the Shadow of Christian Zionism
By Rev. Alex Awad

(Administrative note: The following is the text of a presentation exploring the effects of Christian Zionism on Palestinian Christians from a 2010 conference titled, Christ at the Checkpoint. Dr. David Duke addressed the very related issue to Zionist Christians in his video, The Insanity of Christian Zionism. In his video, he described Jewish Zionists’ hatred of Christ. The following presentation by Rev. Alex Awad speaks to the tragic ignorance Christian Zionists have about Christ’s followers who still live in the land of his birth, and have for 2,000 years. –Admin)
The focus of my presentation is Palestinian Christians in the Shadow of Christian Zionism. I will reflect on my personal experiences to demonstrate the impact of Christian Zionism on Palestinian Christians and on the Church of the Holy Land. To highlight the significance of this theme, I want to give three illustrations:
1. John Hagee, a well-known Evangelical leader from the United States said recently, and I quote:
“The United States must join Israel in a pre-emptive military strike against Iran to fulfill God’s plan for both Israel and the West…a biblically prophesied end-time confrontation with Iran, which will lead to the Rapture, Tribulation, and Second Coming of Christ.” (John
Hagee). (more…)
Islamophobic Filmmakers Promote Comment Seeking To Legitimate Norway Terrorist’s Views
Islamophobic Filmmakers Promote Comment Seeking To Legitimate Norway Terrorist’s Views
By Eli Clifton and Ali Gharib on Feb 7, 2012 at 5:35 pmThe Clarion Fund, an organization which produces Islamophobic documentaries, came under renewed scrutiny last month when news broke that their film “The Third Jihad” was screened at an NYPD conference. Facing calls for his resignation, NYPD commissioner Raymond Kelly, after some dissembling, admitted he was interviewed for the project and apologized for his role, calling the film “inflammatory.” Clarion, however, bragged about the attention.
Now, Clarion appears to be throwing caution to the wind — along with any plausible defense that the group is not Islamophobic — by promoting a comment from a reader seeking to redeem the views of the anti-Muslim right-wing extremist who terrorized Norway this summer, killing 77, including 69 people at a youth camp. In an e-mail newsletter to supporters, Clarion Fund quoted the reader suggesting that a recent report that militant Islamic extremism posed the top threat to Norway redeemed the unheralded warnings of Anders Breivik, the anti-Muslim killer.
The newsletter, published by the organization’s radicalislam.org website, promoted the comment from a “reader in Norway.” It read:
What a hot current topic this is! Just today the news came out in Norway, “officially” and in spite of all the PC-ness of this government, that according to the national security forces, the threat of Islamist terrorism is the foremost threat against Norway. You probably remember the July 22 shootings. One of Breivik’s arguments was that the authorities were not taking this threat seriously because you musn’t offend a Muslim. Interesting development.Clarion’s willingness to promote and publish an e-mail sympathetic to Breivik seems a bizarre move for an organization under fire for Islamophobia, especially when the comment obfuscates the bigoted point Breivik was making about Islam at-large — the very same conflation between extremism and the whole faith the Clarion Fund has repeatedly been accused of making.
Breivik’s warnings did not focus on Muslim extremism, but rather on Islam at-large. Breivik’s1,500-page manifesto is littered with comments about Islam in general, for instance arguing that the Muslim veil “should more properly be viewed as the uniform of a Totalitarian movement, and a signal to attack those outside the movement.” He called Islam a “totalitarian, racist and violent political ideology,” and said its holy book, the Koran, should be banned. Breivik’s warning was not about, as the reader wrote, “Islamist terrorism,” but about Islam:
What is likely to happen to the West, if it continues to follow its present policyof ‘political correctness’ and apathy towards the hostile teachings of Islam, [will be like] “the Islamic conquest of India…”“In order to wake up the masses,” the soon-to-be killer wrote before attacking government offices and a political youth camp, “the only rational approach will be to make sure the current system implodes.”
Breivik went on in his manifesto to cite the writings of numerous American right-wing Islamophobes and recommended the Clarion Fund’s film “Obsession: Radical Islam’s War Against the West” for “further studies.” He even included a link to it.
While the Norwegian security services’ report did indeed cite Islamic-inspired extremism as the country’s top threat, that assessment actually proves Breivik’s assertion wrong: Norwegian authorities seem rather well-attuned to the serious threat posed by the few radicalized, extremist Muslims in Norway.
Despite the citations, Clarion is not, of course, responsible for Breivik’s attack. But by singling out and publishing a reader comment that whitewashed and sought to exonerate Breivik’s murderous ideology, the Clarion Fund may be tipping their hand as to how closely their views dovetail with his. Santorum warns of “Eurabia,” issues call to “evangelize and eradicate” Muslims
ed note–over the years, we at TUT have made plain our EXTREME disdain for Muslims haters, Islamophobes and as well–THOSE IN THE ‘MOVEMENT’ WHO PROMOTE THEM.
The reasons for this were several–first and foremost was that the entire Islamophobia industry is dishonest and by extension, inherently unfair. Moreover, it has resulted in REAL LIFE suffering for innocent people, including American Muslims who are subjected to a genuine campaign of terrorism, against both them as individuals and also against their families and communities, to say nothing of the present wars taking place in Muslim countries being waged by the West.
HOWEVER, THE MOST DANGEROUS ASPECT TO IT has been the fact that these lies are the FUEL for wars that WILL DESTROY THE PLANET IF NOT STOPPED. These lies serve as the kindling, fuel and oxygen for an inferno that threatens to destroy everything.
HOW? SIMPLE–Professional Islamophobes such as Pamela Geller, Wafa Sultan, Robert Spencer, Geert Wilders, Walid Phares and the rest have the ear of American and Western politicians. The story below concerning the lunatic Santorum is perfect proof of this. ‘Eurabia’ is a DISTINCTLY ISRAELI idea introduced and promoted by a professional Israeli Islamophobe Bat Ye’or who works closely with Israeli intelligence in providing additional fuel for this bonfire that benefits ONLY ONE entity–THE JEWISH STATE.
It is for this reason that we at TUT urge all people of reason and fairness to make a special point of exposing these agents of destruction for what they are–enemies not only of Muslims but of the entire planet.

For the past two weeks, the entire mainstream American media homed in on newsletters published by Republican Rep. Ron Paul, an anti-imperialist, conservative libertarian who finished third in last night’s Iowa caucuses. Mostly ghostwritten by libertarian activist Llewelyn “Lew” Rockwell and a committee of far-right cranks, the newsletters contained indisputably racist diatribes, including ominous warnings about the “coming race war.” At no point did Paul denounce the authors of the extreme manifestoes nor did he take responsibility for the content.
The disturbing content of Paul’s newsletters was a worthy campaign outrage, and one he should have been called to account for, but why did it gain mainstream traction when the reactionary views of the other candidates stayed under the radar? One reason is that Paul threatened the Republican establishment by attacking America’s neo-imperial foreign policy and demanding an end to the US-Israel special relationship.
Those who pushed the newsletters story the hardest were neoconservatives terrified by the prospect of Paul edging into the mainstream with his call for a total cut-off of US aid to Israel. In fact, the history of the newsletters was introduced to the American public back in early 2008 by Jamie Kirchick, a card-carrying neocon who has said that Muslims “act like savages” and once wrote that I possessed “a visceral hatred of my Jewish heritage.” Having declared former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney as their favorite wooden marionette, the neocons had a clear ideological interest in resuscitating the newsletters story once Paul emerged this year as a presidential frontrunner.
Though Romney won Iowa, he succeeded by a mere 8 votes over former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum. The mainstream press is now fixated on Santorum, praising him for his “authenticity” and predicting he will continue to win over “gritty Catholics,” as MSNBC host Chris Matthews said today. But now that Santorum is in the limelight, he is also going to be thoroughly vetted. So the question is whether the media will devote anywhere near the same level of attention it gave to Ron Paul’s newsletters as it will to Santorum’s record of hysterically Islamophobic statements and anti-Muslim activism. So far, I have seen nothing to suggest that it will.
In 2007, a few months after Santorum was ousted from the Senate in a landslide defeat, he accepted an invitation from right-wing provocateur David Horowitz to speak at “Islamo-Fascism Campus Awareness Week.” As I documented in my video report on Horowitz’s appearance at Columbia University that year, “Islamo-Fascism” week was a naked ploy to generate publicity for the frenetically self-promoting Horowitz while demonizing Muslim-Americans as a dangerous fifth column who required constant government monitoring and possibly worse. The event was so extreme that even Jewish groups like Hillel known for promoting Zionism on campus rejected it.
There is no video documentation or transcript of Santorum’s speech at Horowitz’s “Islamo-Fascism Awareness” event. However, I was able to find a transcript of a speech Santorum delivered at Horowitz’s invitation in March 2007. During his address, the ex-Senator declared the need to “define the enemy,” but he made little effort to distinguish between the general population of Muslims and violent Islamic extremists. If anything, he seemed to conflate the two.
Here are a few of the remarkable statements Santorum made at Horowitz’s event:
“What must we do to win? We must educate, engage, evangelize and eradicate.”
“Look at Europe. Europe is on the way to losing. The most popular male name in Belgium — Mohammad. It’s the fifth most popular name in France among boys. They are losing because they are not having children, they have no faith, they have nothing to counteract it. They are balkanizing Islam, but that’s exactly what they want. And they’re creating an opportunity for the creation of Eurabia, or Euristan in the future…Europe will not be in this battle with us. Because there will be no Europe left to fight.”
We should “talk about how Islam treats homosexuals. Talk about how they treat anybody who is found to be a homosexual, and the answer to that is, they kill them.”
“…the Shia brand of Islamist extremists [is] even more dangerous than the Sunni [version]. Why? Because the ultimate goal of the Shia brand of Islamic Islam is to bring back the Mahdi. And do you know when the Mahdi returns? At the Apocalypse at the end of the world. You see, they are not interested in conquering the world; they are interested in destroying the world.”
“The other thing we need to do is eradicate, and that’s the final thing. As I said, this is going to be a long war.”
The Islamophobic rant Santorum delivered at an event organized by a known bigot was no less extreme than anything contained in Ron Paul’s newsletters. But don’t wait for the American mainstream press to discuss Santorum’s disturbing views on Muslims as anything other than proof of his “authenticity.”
Bat Ye’or: Theorist of the ‘counterjihad’ movement
"In a nutshell, one of the most successful new narratives of the far right is not to reconfigure neo-Nazism, but to reject it. Instead, many activists now argue that western civilisation is facing an existential threat from an invading Muslim hoard, one that is on the cusp of taking over the continent and imposing its ostensibly barbaric and backward way of life on Judaeo-Christian civilisation. This is being allowed to happen by a corrupt, left wing elite who promote multiculturalism.(...)
... it is important to stress that Bat Ye’or’s far right agenda is not neo-Nazism, far from it. Her ideas are not compatible with a reworking of Hitler’s creed. Indeed, for Ye’or, the Nazis were in collusion with Muslims, and some of her passages even suggest that Muslims were partially culpable for the Holocaust. So here the Nazis are the bad guys. This theme is unsurprising given the fact that Ye’or is herself Jewish. This does not stop the ideology she presents manifesting many of the qualities of a far right perspective, especially the demonisation of hate figures and revelling in conspiracy theory ideas. Its just one that does not like Nazism and antisemitism."
